We picked up our campervan back in Christchurch on Friday evening 7 February. I've called it 'Te Maru', which is Maori for 'place of shelter', or 'Tem' for short. Applying the Kiwi language rule (changing 'e' to 'i' ) this means the van's called 'Tim'.
The van will be our home now until the end of March.
And here's a photo showing - using Lawson's words - 'some idiot trying to squeeze himself and a large piece of luggage into a small van'.
(Joan, you did warn us that we needed to go for a big van!).
